My story with weight loss!

Most of us have our own stories and battles with weight loss. Some might have happy endings, while others may seem never-ending! If you've been there, then I know exactly how you feel.

My journey began at the age of 12 when I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), and I struggled with poor eating habits throughout my youth. Despite engaging in various sports, from professional swimming to tennis, table tennis, triathlons, and running, I maintained my weight. Studying to become a dietitian helped me control my food intake by counting calories daily.

However, after turning 30 and during the COVID pandemic, I started gaining weight uncontrollably, coupled with an insulin resistance diagnosis. Having endured the challenging side effects of PCOS, I decided it was time for a change. I delved deeper into weight management and imbalanced hormones, adopting a selective eating approach at specific times. In 1 year and 7 months, I successfully lost 10 kg of fat by following a high-protein diet combined with the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting. Most importantly, I am no longer afraid of regaining weight, leading to fewer indulgences and a more peaceful relationship with food.
